Privacy Policy

TchueKAM is built privacy-first. This policy explains exactly what data we touch and what we don't.

What stays on your machine​

  • Your conversations
  • Your settings and preferences
  • Workspace indexes
  • All files you read, edit, or create with TchueKAM

These never leave your computer unless you explicitly enable a cloud feature.

What we collect (only with your permission)​

Anonymous telemetry (default: on, opt-out anytime)​

  • App version and operating system
  • Feature usage counts (e.g. "voice input used 3 times this week")
  • Crash reports (stack traces, no conversation content)

You can turn this off at Settings → Privacy → Telemetry.

Conversation sync (default: off)​

If you opt in, conversations are encrypted on your device and stored in your account on our servers. You can disable this anytime and delete cloud copies from Settings → Privacy → Sync.

What we never collect​

  • The text of your conversations (unless sync is on, and even then it's encrypted)
  • File contents
  • Keystroke logs
  • Browsing activity outside TchueKAM
  • Anything that could identify you personally (without explicit account creation)

Third parties​

  • GitHub — TchueKAM downloads updates from GitHub Releases. GitHub may log your IP when you download. See GitHub's privacy policy.
  • PostHog — anonymous product analytics (only if telemetry is on)

We don't sell, share, or expose your data to advertisers. Ever.

Your rights​

  • Export — download everything we have about you in JSON format from Settings → Privacy → Export my data
  • Delete — wipe all local data via Settings → Privacy → Delete everything
  • Cloud delete — if you enabled sync, Settings → Privacy → Delete cloud account removes everything from our servers within 30 days

Children's privacy​

TchueKAM is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy​

We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced in the app and on the website.
